+1 Drain Water Per Click Pools, Areas & Lakes

The stated progression

Three tiers of location are named in the official Roblox experience description, in this order:

  1. Pools — where you start. Drain one completely and fish appear at the bottom.
  2. Areas — unlocked by draining bigger Pools. The description ties the two together directly.
  3. Lakes — the furthest tier named, described as holding “amazing surprises”.

Bigger water means better fish, and better fish mean more Cash per trip. That is the entire progression loop, and it is why the game never asks you to choose between “content” and “grinding” — they are the same activity.

What actually gates you

Nothing in this game is gated by a quest or a level requirement. You move forward when you can drain the next body of water in a reasonable time, which means the gate is always one of four things:

BottleneckSymptomFix

BackpackYou leave fish on the floorBackpack space

Rate ceilingEverything is fine and still slowRebirth

Work out which one it is on a full run, buy that, and the next Area arrives on its own. The ordering across all boosts is on the boost priority tiers page.

Sessions are short by design

Roblox reports an average session of about 12.4 minutes and a maximum of 6 players per server for this experience. That shapes how to plan: this is a game of many short, complete runs rather than one long expedition. Finish the pool you are on, sell, buy one thing, and let the next session start from a better rate.

Training pads help here more than anywhere else — they train Water while you are doing something else, and the upgrades guide covers how they stack with manual clicking.

What has never been published — and it is a lot

This is the part where most sites for this game quietly invent content, so it is worth being blunt.

There is no published list of Area names. No official source, no third-party tracker and no competing wiki has published:

  • the names of any Pool, Area or Lake,
  • how many of each exist,
  • the Water or Cash requirement to unlock any of them,
  • the capacity of any body of water,
  • or which fish or mutations are tied to which location.

Wrestling Elephant Studio has published no patch notes, no Trello board and no wiki. The Roblox events feed carries titles, artwork and time windows only — see the update calendar.

So the honest instruction is the useful one: record the location name exactly as the game spells it, add the visible unlock text only when the game shows it to you, and treat any table of Area thresholds you find online as someone’s guess until it names a source.
